What gear do you wear???

My gear

Shoei X-11 Locatelli

I didn't like my pants knee protectors moving around so I removed them and use these over my legs instead, EVS Option Knee/Shin Guard

A* Bionic back protector

Tourmaster Intake Air jacket, removable thermal and waterproof liner, here is not as cold as in the states or europe so I never use the thermal one, but it can start raining anytime so I carry the waterproof on the topcase or tankbag, if it's cold I wear it as well

Tourmaster Venture pants, not the air version, they have an integrated waterproof barrier, NO WAY I would stop to take my pants off to put an internal waterproof liner or put something over

Tourmaster Solution boots, waterproof and comfortable for walking around

Cortech Adrenaline gloves,

My girlfriend uses the same gear, except for the jacket

tbh i'd class RST stuff as being towards the budget end of the market

it is fairly good quality though, and good value for money

problems with my jacket:
1) the waterproof liner is internal, so if it rains the outside gets wet
2) the arm straps don;'t really do much and just come undone and flap about
3) it's a mesh jacket, so i'm not sure how well it would hold up in a crash, it does have the usual armouring though

good things
1) apart from a wet crotch, it's kept me dry
2) it keeps me cool in summer, and has a thermal layer to help keep me warm in winter. I'd say it's good for temperatures from 8-30+C, though I've used it down to 0C with some extra layering
3) relatively cheap (£110 for jacket, £90 for trousers)

i'll probably going to upgrade to dainese textiles when i can afford it

Hm, that's a little disappointing to be honest :( The hold-up-in-a-crash is kinda important and since it rains like 50 weeks a year here (ok, slight exaggeration) I think it needs to be fully waterproof.

But thank you for the quick review :) Very helpfull

I am really having a hard time finding nice textiles. The leathers pretty much all look awesome, but for some reason most textiles (or at least those sold here) are... uhm, conservative in terms of looks  - and leathers just don't help a lot when you live a place where rain can sneak up on you like a ninja at night :disapprove:

Cortech Vice gloves

Danner 8" leather/ Gore-tex boots.

Oakley Flak Jacket sunglasses with polarized lenses. (protects my eyes from flying debris when I have my face shield open.

*The above listed gear is worn EVERYTIME my bike leaves the driveway*

My plans are to add a pair of Draggin Jeans for added protection for wear under my Icon Arc textile over pants. I also plan on getting a real pair of motorcycle boots and will probably step up to a leather coat when my current Cortech starts looking ratty.

Wow. That was my original jacket and it's still the most comfortable thing I own, but it's not "bright" enough to wear to work (Air Force base) anymore. Guess we're all shaped differently.

Around here I wear a 2-piece A* track suit, T-pro back and chest protector, a helmet, Held phantom gloves, and the top of the line SIDI boots (got teh ghey white ones for half price!).

I have a rain shell (tourmaster I think) for wet or cold weather and a pair of NorthFace gortex ski pants (I bought them 12 years ago) that are completely water/wind proof.

New Balance goretex steeltip boot

ooooooh....that makes me cringe. Not because I'm the gear police, but because I had a bad experience lowsiding with full gear on head to ankle, and hiking books. I think my accident was a little bit of a freak accident but man do I wish I had been wearing proper/tall motorcycle boots.

I'm 6'2" and pretty slim. This jacket is a really wide fit so its uncomfortable to me. Anyone know any slim-fitting motorcycle jackets?

Shark Helmet
FieldSheer Congo Mesh Jacket
FieldSheer Spider Gloves
Shift Jeans (Kevlar)
5.11 ATAC Storm Boots

Been Shopping around for a nice vented leather jacket, but the only one I can find that I want is the blue Scorpion Stinger Jacket and they are out of production and out of my size

Looking to Upgrade to a better helmet, other then that, I love my gear!

Pretty much Alpinestars everything, except for my Scorpion EXO 700 helmet, and my goog ol' 5.11 Tactical boots, which I see Ransom also likes! I've got the HRT Urban 8" boots. I also need an updated pic of my FZ, as it looks a little different. Maybe on Sat.
