No pants, yet. Currently thinking about a pair of These.

SIDI boots are actually being delivered today, so I have yet to actually wear them. I imagine they will be a nice improvement over my regular steel toe boots. Also, helmet has a clear and mirrored dark smoke visor. The red one made it difficult to see stop light signals from a distance, so I never use it.

:drool: that's an awesome looking jacket. Wish I would find one here. I'm about to buy new jacket and pants but I'm not sure I have the guts to buy it online - would like to try it out in person before buying.

Pretty much all my gear will be replaced before season starts, but first item on the list is in the bag: A brand new Black Schuberth S1 Pro

EDIT: Woot, they do have a retailer in Denmark How cool is that.

This is what I've got so far:

• Shoei RAID II helmet to protect the noggin.
• Halvarsson Oddyssey jacket - rain and wind proof.
• LindSTRands Gi-Pants - rain and wind proof.
• Army Boots model M/77 - NSFR (not suitable for riding).
• Rukka Apollo gloves for the hands.
• Halvarssons neck collar - for those cold Norwegian spring and fall mornings.
• Hood's K7 Motorcycle Jeans for the shorter trips in hot weather.

If I were to buy it all over again, I would buy something with a little more colour. At least some hi-viz details instead of everything pitch black.

I am very happy with the quality and performance of everything but the boots. They will have to go as soon as the riding season starts. I want something with more "crush protection" that does not look like racing boots. I'm also getting a back protector, but have no idea which one to get.

tbh i'd class RST stuff as being towards the budget end of the market

it is fairly good quality though, and good value for money

problems with my jacket:
1) the waterproof liner is internal, so if it rains the outside gets wet
2) the arm straps don;'t really do much and just come undone and flap about
3) it's a mesh jacket, so i'm not sure how well it would hold up in a crash, it does have the usual armouring though

good things
1) apart from a wet crotch, it's kept me dry
2) it keeps me cool in summer, and has a thermal layer to help keep me warm in winter. I'd say it's good for temperatures from 8-30+C, though I've used it down to 0C with some extra layering
3) relatively cheap (£110 for jacket, £90 for trousers)

i'll probably going to upgrade to dainese textiles when i can afford it

When I ride my Honda C70 around the village, I usually wear a Barbour International and an old Shoei RF800. I also have a Vanson CSR5 and a pair of A*Stars Street Cargo Pants, which I sometimes wear for local riding.

1) HJC CL-SP Grimm Reaper - to protect the part that gets the rest of the body into trouble in 75% of cases while in search of adventures on the part of the body protected by (5)
2) Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ - for the last resort eye protection and cool looks
3) Firstgear Kilimanjaro Jacket - rain, snow... what?
4) Coretech Scarab Winter Gloves - protect the grabbing appendages
5) Firstgear HT Overpants - to protect the parts of the body that get to pay the price for adventures sought by the part covered by (1)
6) Sidi Vertigo Boots - protect my feet from environment, and protect environment from my feet and their smell
