I'll be at Streets on 5/29 with Motoyard. Still trying to figure out whether to keep my FZ6 (needs new tires after the last track day at the big track), get a GSX-R 750, or take the Concours 14 up.

A Concours on the track would be cool! The gixxer is by far the best track choice tho...

Man I'd love to David but my project at work is in the last 100 days until implementation. I won't have more than a weekend off until October.

It does sound like fun. Maybe we can plan one for the Fall?

Join any group and come have fun! Ride your ride... you will have fun no matter how comfortable you are on your bike. You'll even have fun if you don't ride and just hang out in the pits...

You know your FZ6 wants it.

Just seeing this for the first time now. I'm hiking Mt. Whitney that weekend. Have fun...don't crash . What tires are you running?

As for tires, it'll be my second track day on a set of BT003R... My plan is to push it a bit out there (and maybe take the Buell too, to throw both of them on that small track to compare times), but no crashing planned for the day... I hope

Definintely no crashing David. I'm curious how the Buell will do on the track too! Be sure to post your times on the GSXR vs Buell for us and your thoughts on it.

Great trackday!

The Buell did not fair too well at the track.... it was in a crash!!!!!

My best time was a 1'31 on the gixxer (no time for the Buell), which I am pretty happy with... next time I will be under the 1'30s and I may try group A... too many slow riders in group B yesterday (made for some fun passing tho)

Oh and I did a Rossi move going 100mph over 3-4 feets of sand crossing the inside of turn 11... wow.... and almost lost the rear while hard on the throttle coming out of turn 12 too...

well, my pit crew took the Buell to ride around the track to take pictures and let the Buell rumble itself off its side stand LOL no big deal, just a foot peg and clutch lever to replace...
