Top Sellerie mishap!

I know they will correct it for you but what it troubling is the return shipping costs and not recouping those! Is this all on a credit card? Can you sick them on this?

They started out the cream of the crop, now they've become rotten tomatoes. They SHOULD expedite a new seat and include a return shipping label for the broken seat.

Otherwise, I'd have the CC company return all the charges possible, then do what I said earlier, take your stock pan and re-staple the TS cover with foam over your pan. If they want a seat back, ship them their busted-arse pan with the stock loose foam and cover flopping in the box!

I used PayPal, not sure if anything can be done with that. If I felt confident that I could re-upholster my seat pan, I would. I feel like taking it outside and lighting it on fire right now.

Is there any upholstery place close by? I'm serious... This is the same thing TS is going to do with that seat, just pull the staples and attach it onto another pan. It would STILL be cheaper than a return shipping to France. I'll bet a local can do it right for about $25.00 and you'll be better off than letting TS try yet again.

I was really pissed when I didn't get one of the new black seat pans(I paid for one). I'm feeling a little better about them giving me the stock white one now. This is the second one I've seen snapped like that.

Good luck with it.

I was actually thinking about that today. I don't know of any, though. There's gotta be someone around here that does. May have to try that if TS shows no honor.

I think the stock pan is superior. You should feel better......maybe they knew about some quality control issues!;)

FZ1inNH is on to something there...... a staple gun you can buy at Home Depot is plenty for re-attaching the cover. If you have their foam, and covers, and you have your own good seat pan, it's simple to stack it up and staple on the cover. It's already fitted, just needs to be pulled taut and attached. A do it yourself job.

You're too much money into these dingwahs to let them get away with it..... but you can build a good seat out of what you have in hand.
