If I could only learn not to use the death grip on my throttle hand I wouldn't get numbness and cramp.....

Nice country;),used to get around that area in the late 80's when I was in the army.A lot of time at Bindoon range & some out at Northam.Back then I was on a xt600 85mod(black & red with gold rims):D
I also remember another decent place for a ride was:confused:Mundering weir:confused:lots of traffic though...

Cool! Yeah, you are right about Mundaring Weir. Very nice rides and a good pub too :)

We are lucky enough to live in Chittering, so there is never an excuse not to have a nice ride :thumbup:

Woot! Woot! gotta say, i am happier than a pig in poo right now! "My" Club....Flashdance, Australia's biggest retro show has been challenged by a "new" contender for tne crown....our attendance tonight....2300 people through the door...their attendance, second night in, and first night in without "invited guests"....140!

My absence from the forum has paid off....

Stuff with the bull, and you might just get the horns!!!

End of boast! Please resume normal service!

Humpy had a busy morning bike shopping :rockon: :rockon: I think it is my favorite pastime :D The smell of a bike shop is bliss :eyebrow: Tried on a few helmets & checked out some gear for Tassie , what a great way to spend a few hours :thumbup:
 
Took my 11 year old son to the Go Karts today...first time he has ever driven anything with a motor in it!

He was pulling 24 second laps AFTER ABOUT 5 LAPS!...track record is 19.70seconds, very good is apparently about 22 seconds!

I think i have a hoon on my hands! :rockon:

Yes, Go-Karts are awesome fun! And we had plenty of fun today...the boy has not stopped talking about how fast the karts were...Lol! all 6kw of power that is! Lol!

I blame Playstation for his immediate speed, that and the fact the karts have no gears, and no clutch, and he has no fear... he has proved this as a pillion on my bikes!

Well, I can't believe this one.

A guy at my work said he was going to buy a motorbike yesterday - either an 07 R1 or 07 CBR1000RR. HE HAS NEVER RIDDEN AS MUCH AS A FARM BIKE BEFORE

Today he bought the CBR - without checking it out personally because "His brother owned it once, so it must be alright!". Can't ride. Said to me "How hard can it be to ride a bike?".

Hasn't got/won't get insurance - waste of money he said.

He'll be riding it within a month - just use his L plates from 250 class - for which he hasn't even sat the written for :eek:

Sorry, but this is the sort of guy that gives us, responsible riders a bad name.

Seriously, it's like a kid that has never driven a car before, hopping into a Ferrari by himself and just taking off - it ain't gonna happen.

Well Kaz to answer his question , it isnt hard to ride a bike :eek: BUT it is hard to ride a bike safely :thumbup: So if the idiot is planning on being the next Wossi then its safe to assume he wont be on the bike very long :( I wish him all the best & hope he stays safe...... He is proof that you dont need a long neck to be a goose.... :spank:
