Went into Honda World Today...new bike prices are already being hit by the falling Aussie Dollar...new Honda cb1000r...the new one with the funky looking headlight......$18299, that's $3300 more than the outgoing model!!!!

Nearly fell of me crutches! :eek:

The quality of the video is better on my normal digitasl camera, than most of the less expensive helmet cam's, tank cam's, etc, anyway, and i like the home made idea....i bet it works just as well, if not better, more rubber to soak up vibration....

Xmas tablecloth. I usually have some rugged cloth placemats on there as they protect it better from scratches. Like when somebody scribbles a pen to get it working...lol...GRRR.

LOL! Yes last 3 times i have been in Honda World, they have tried very hard not to take money off me......stupid prices!!!!!

You know, right now, you can get a brand new GSXR600, with a Yoshi pipe thrown in, for $12000....

By the way, i made an even smaller offer on that SV today....that should confuse the guy who has it on consignment!!!!!!

Still want the bike badly though, just dont wanna pay $2000 above "real" market value....stupid bike shops...i think they all think we came down in the last shower....

When I was getting rid of my old cbr I asked them about a trade on a 06 cbr600rr,they were getting rid of the old model for $12,500 ride away and they said it's only worth $1000 !. BULL I said and sold it the next week and got $3000 for it and promptly bought another bike elsewhere and haven't stepped foot in the place since,there where a few other episodes in there right from when I bought that damn bike from them :rant:

Desmo's used to be legendary for those sort of shenanigans! but most big shops are the same......it's downright insulting to your intelligence.....would never trade in a bike.....ever!

Look at what has happened to Matt's TRX, that consignment episode was weird.
