Well ,just got back from the docs with what I thought was the flu,turns out it is Bronchitus .Because of my history with pneumonia I have been ordered to quit smoking !
I,ll be damn glad when this year is over !

As for the durries Mick , your better off without em seriously.... I know its hard but the 1st 3 days are the hardest & now everything is soooo much better without them Your sense of smell returns (not sure if thats a good thing sometimes & your taste buds come back to life :drool: FOOOD wonderful flavoursome food :drool: biggest thing I notice was food tastes soooo much better

Bike went down today. Funny thing I wasnt even on it.
Hey storm.....FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

No major damage from what I can tell. I think the handlebar is the main problem....either that or the forks are out of alignment?

Any ideas what or how to check if the forks are out?

Also wolf if your reading this mate..I need a new bar. Where did you get your chrome choppa one?

Some scrapes on the indicators but thank-god the tank took no damage. Break pedal coped it also but nothing a little persuasion cant fix.

Awesome band, but a bit of a contradiction....Save the world, but only if we can produce the World's biggest carbon footprint everytime we play! These guys take production standards to a level this world has never seen!

Love a massive live show, and U2 make some great music, but i do find Bono a bit of a hypocrite!

Now i have had my whinge, were they any good Humpy???

U2 - Everything up to and including Rattle & Hum (especially Under a Blood Red Sky) - brilliant :rockon: I stopped following this band after R&H- can't handle Bono being so self righteous. And he's a d1ck Music doesn't do it for me these days - just the odd song from them.

The Edge though - he is incredible :thumbup: I saw a doco on Foxtel the other week - It Might Get Loud. BLOODY AWESOME - The Edge (who has Welsh parents ), Jack White :steve: and Jimmy Page :bow: - all talk about their history of guitar playing, how they started, and even end up singing/jamming together. The opening scene where Jack White has a hammer, some string and..... well, you need to see it.

Truely awesome - highly recommended

LOL good whinge & all very true , im not a U2 fan as such hence the reason I didnt have tickets to any of their shows

They turn out some great music from time to time , so I figured i'd stay back & listen for a while......... How did they sound ?? ORDINARY at best (laser show was great) from where I was Bono's voice has failed him since the The Joshua Tree & Rattle & Hum albums...

Managed to straighten out JayJay's bike last night, front wheel was a fair way out of alignment for a bike that just fell over in the wind! Jay said that the bike was not only in it's side when he found it, but was about a metre away from where it was originally standing when he parked it! My guess is that someone has given the bike a fairly decent tap with their car, and not left any note!

Weird thing is, there is only one scratch on the bike from the fall...on the left bar end!

Everything was tightly fastened on the forks etc when I went to loosen the axle, and both triple clamps, to straighten it all up, so the bike must of taken a decent hit of some sort!!!

Jay was both lucky and unlucky I think! Unlucky to find his bike on it's side, lucky the damage was not so bad. Would be nice if he knew the truth of what happened...
