I am delighted for Ireland. The players have really been coping it from the press with regard to their pre tournement form. I watched the last 10 mins in a shoppong centre. Everyone stopped to cheer them over the line. We need a boost over here at the moment.

Ireland deserved the win but Australia changed their gameplay.

This is all in fun. You either love or hate teams. It's the way it goes. I hate the South African team, you hate the Wallabies - makes us even

As long as cheating isn't involved, it doesn't matter. It's all about the love of this wonderful game. Some of the underdog teams are playing ok. First 26 minutes of England v Georgia game wa entertaining.

BTW, Wales got out of the dangerzone by beating Samoa - Phew!

Great upset win by Tonga over France 19-14.

I watched the last half an hour of the match and France looked very ordinary. Tonga just seem to lack the killer finish though, they were on the brink of a couple of tries but just couldn't get it over.

A monstrously ugly game of rugby.
It could have been won on Johnny's boot but he had a terrible kicking game but a superb defensive game.
What a roller coaster of emotions.
England had very poor discipline in the first 40 minutes which caused them big problems. The Scottish pack were hard as nails in the first half and looked to have the better of England.
Why don't England use the wings? Two wingers who run like express trains having to come inside to get any ball.
Anyway England's through and thats what matters:BLAA:.

Fiji beat Wales at the last world cup - knocked us out of the 1/4 finals.

This time, the Red Dragons whipped them 66-0.

NZ are going to have problems - Daniel Carter out of the cup. McCaw was injured and didn't play yesterday and Dagg went off hurt.

Australia - in a lot of trouble I think. Drew Mitchell did a hamstring and that is a huge loss. Australia's defense is also not good right now. They should not have allowed Russia 22 points :shakehead:

And a real surprise - Tonga beat France! Not too many people saw that coming.

Wales could be a bit of a surprise this world cup. We've got a strong team, no serious injuries and our guys are very fit. We lost one game to South Africa, but it was very close. Gave away far too many penalties. We need to improve there for sure. And, if the referee was any good (which he, along with many other referees have been CR4P) we should have been playing 1 man down. Far too many penalties for the some thing....... Anyway, we still would have thrashed Fiji.

Ireland drew first blood, but failed to capitalize on a very strong composed Welsh performance. Nice one Boy's.

England didn't turn up for their quarter final. France upped their game but England were just awful. Wales Ireland was a great match. Wales looking solid and could go all the way to the final. I reckon they've got what it takes to beat the French!
