Only did about 150 miles today (more on that later) but it was really nice. It rained a lot on Friday so the shady parts of the road were damp this AM but this was no real worry.

It was clearer than it looks in the pics...so much sunlight and mist makes for a washed out effect:

I love this road:

Fresh meets salty?

Looks like someone had a truck out there:

I had to cut my ride short so that I could get my wife's car fixed; I found it in this condition this AM when I was getting ready to head out.

No one likes a theif!

I tried out my new heated jacket today for the first time and liked it. It was in the mid to high 50s and sunny but I was averaging about 55MPH. I had the heated jacket on over my chest/back protector and under my fully perforated leather jacket. I was nice and warm all day.

Sorry to hear about the robbery.look's like you chose to have an awesome day anyway!!!:thumbup:

Great pics mate, wonderful scenery, apart from the last 2 (in the first post).. ba$tards.
Anything stolen for the vehicle. Had it happen to me, but there was nothing in the car, so they got nothing.

Punch them in the head for me if you ever find 'em...

:)

Anything stolen for the vehicle?

Nope. I believe they mistook an emergency/shock blanket in a black case for a laptop b/c I found it opened and on the floor outside of the car. They left behind CDs and other misc. stuff that was under the seats and/or in the consoles.

$150 installed w/ tint and I only had to wait about 25 minutes

Such a beautiful place to be man. Sorry about the asshats though. Hopefully a homeless guy will poop in his backpack after eating a three day old rotton burrito.

Tell Angela Trin and I said hi.

Very nice pics, and I'm suprised that you had such great weather. My group ride out to Death Valley got cancelled today, as it's pouring down rain here in Vegas. Still managed to log about 30 miles today in the rain.

Man, that vrod light really looks great. Infact the bike looks more muscular naked than faired. How are you enjoying the naked ride? I am thinking whether it will be a pain riding without the fairings in lower temps = 20-40F? Seems like you got rid of your scorpions too. Seems like you fixed your tank too.

What brand heated gear and the protectors?

Great pics, I am jealous!

Views, twisties, great looking surface. That looks sweet! Glad you managed a nice day out.

May the thieves get infested with immortal crabs, and itch for eternity:Flip:.

Cheers
Mike

Awesome pics! Looks like a killer day out there, wish I could have joined you.
Those tire tracks at the mouth of the Russian River are from the rangers or lifeguards driving their trucks down there. They're the only ones that get to do it anymore, so they take full advantage!
Sucks about the break in, glad they didn't get anything. You're living in "The Smash & Grab City" though, it was more a when than an if. Hopefully now you've had your welcome to SF car burglary, and the scumbags will let you be for a while.

About 3 weeks ago I did a ride from San Luis Obispo to Monterey on hwy. 1. Weather was perfect and yes we do have an awesome coast. Lots of nice twisties.
