It took me a while to sort out internet hence the reason for my prolonged absence.
Well we left the UK on the 23rd of April and have finally settled in.
My wife has been brilliant and the kids love it.
Some things I have learned so far: (country living)
1. Although the cow pat may be crispy, this is not an indication of its solidness.
2. A solid fuel burning stove does not light, clean or maintain itself.
3. Ireland is just like Australia, only 1/3rd of it has actually been mapped.
4. The UK is positively tropical compared to Ireland.
5. Irish drivers are friendly (not necessarily bike safe).
My new job is good so far, great people and a fantastic new well equipped department.
