I just bought a new FZ6. I am 64 years old and find this bike is easier to ride then my big cuiser. what do most people get for fuel milage on the rode. I think this bike would be ok for traveling also
Ron

On the highway, 50 to 55 MPG. If you try hard enough you can get 20 to 25 though :D

Welcome to the site and good choice! What kind of cruiser(s) do you have?

Good for you! I'm 61 and ride FZ6. Great bike-may ride it cross country in a couple of years. Rick

Welcome to the site! I found this bike not only easy to ride but fun also, you can crusie or play, whatever you feel like on a particular day.

Welcome to the site! The FZ6 knows no age limit!

Once you've broken the bike in, expect 50 +/- 2 if you're just cruising a lot. The first three tanks on the new bike will leave you wondering and guessing because the mpg isn't all that great but I promise it will increase and level out after about 1500 miles.

Congrats! Take care!

Welcome to the site, and congrats on your new bike. They sure are fun.

Defy that was hillarous. Gotta work real hard. LOL

Welcome to the site Ron! I'm 52 and have enjoyed riding after 30yrs off. I like that the FZ6 can be easy going or a screamer depending on how it's ridden.
