need help with exhaust. not sure what to get.

im looking at buying just a slip on exhaust for my 06 FZ6. i want something that has a deep rumble at low rpms but screams at high rpms. and i want it to be in a halfway decent price range. if possible send me links to websites with good exhausts. need help. what do i get?

Well personally I only like the akrapovic and two brothers exhausts ( for the looks that is) don't like the chrome ones or the ones that don't fully full up the gap the original exhausts leave.

The best advice i can give is figure out your price range, then check out all the utube vids (god can't beleive I am actually encouraging someone to use utube i feel dirty)
They contain reasonable videos with examples of what the major exhausts will sound like on a FZ6. Some of the producers have also released their own soundclips/videos for similar purposes.

Probably the main ones that come to mind are (excuse any spelling mistakes please):
Leo Vinces
Akrapovic
Two Bros
M4
Yoshimura
Laser
Scorpions (considered good value for money)

I wonder if changing exhausts affects carbon emission? I know I´m being boring here, but does anyone have any info about it?

It shouldn't, the cats are what reduce your emissions, and as far as I know the oem exhaust doesn't have filtering.
If you get a cat eliminator it will.
