King Richard's Faire - Met Boo68! (More Pics!!!)

My wife and I went to the Carver, MA King Richard's Faire and we met with Boo68 (Deb) and her husband Josh. We had a great time even though the weather wasn't the best, a lot of the shows were not able to play out and the joust was cut short. The fact that not many showed up made it very accessible to go to all the shops.

Drats! you beat me to it. Josh got called in to work on our way home, right out of the parking lot infact. We had a great time despite the weather. It was great to meet Eric & Michelle and hope to get together for a ride at some point, if not this season, definitely next season.

So jealous! I have never been, despite my quickness with the blade (yes, I mean swords, not gross stuff). Glad you got out to meet. We'll have to get together in the off-season at some point!

Yup! I had a couple of those myself! Deb had one and Michele had two. It's a "Yard of Beer" Looks like more than it really is though....

Thanks all! Maybe next year, we can make it a Meet there! I'd stay for a few days though!

Called in? That's not right, especially after the long Saturday! Sorry to hear that!

I'm so glad you two came out and we finally were able to meet. You are both a lot like us in many ways. We do have to ride together though. Maybe we can meet in the middle for some leaf peeping when the peak hits the
North Shore?

Rob and Keira, we'll have to make plans to attend next year!

They've had a rough year this season and have actually not opened on three separate weekends due to weather. They didn't open yesterday at all but should have as yesterday was better than today (in Carver).

It was a good time regardless. I'll have to sort out some good pics and post them here for all. Not tonight though! Tired! I've been up since 6:15am.

And yes, we should meet for the off-season! We'll have to plan around Michele's classes though.

If we do meet up for leaf peeping, I won't be able to ride.. I have surgery on my shoulder coming up on 10/10 so I am sure my season is just about over.

But certainly willing to meet up in the car.. or if he is willing we could ride 2up..It would be nice if Rob & Keira could come too

Certainly no quick way out of it! It's laced on both sides as well as the front. It's actually one of three I have. I need to find more Ren Faire's to attend now!

Her's is worse... The guy who laced it for her taught me how to lace and tighten it. He told her that if she could breathe, it needed to be tightened! I tightened it twice while there...
