Fork Alignment (Height)

Can someone please post pics or fork height sticking out the top of the upper tripple (steering?) I am attempting to realign my steering after a fall and forget how tall my forks were peeking out over the upper tree (silverish part).

Does it even matter how much its off by, assuming both sides (L&R) are equal in height?

Also, any ideas as to what I need to loosen to get the steering back straight? I tried loosening all triple bolts, axle pinch bolt and upper fork clamp bolts and tried realigning but it's still off a tad.

This might help. Stay with the original height otherwise you will alter the riding geometry, unless that's what you're going for.

That's an awesome job you did in your bearings. I really like the fact that you waited and searched out the proper tool to pull the race instead of the prying.
