That dealership Freedomcycle (NH), do they have a lot of stuff in the store, like helmets and jackets?? I looked on-line and there are only few HJC and some other helmets offered.

They have a fair amount. They carry Shoei, Icon, HJC and a couple other brands. They have Icon, Joe Rocket, Cortech/Tourmaster and a few others for gear as well.
Aftermarket stuff... they have catalogs and can order most anything you want.
Quite a selection on the floor and what isn't there can be ordered. Bring in your best Internet price with shipping included. See if they can come close to matching that.
couple other brands are Z1R for helmets and Motophoria and shift for gear are on the floor.
but like he said they are happy to order in anything that you are looking for ahead of time and not sell it to you if you are not going to be compatible with it.

That, I'm sure, can be accomplished! Unless you are of unusual proportions anyway!
Unsure what they have in stock for sizes but it sure looked to be a few of each size for the stuff I browsed through.
BTW, Yahama takes most of the space with Suzuki spread all about. The center display with all Yammie is impressive!!

No, nothing special (in terms of size), I am just an average Joe, 6ft/185.
Did you pick up yours? How black one looks like in the showroom? I saw blue but would really rather take red. All silver is also nice but must be invisible on the highway.

They don't have any of the '08 models built and on display yet. Mine is in a crate someplace. I have the VIN and they just got the title to it Friday. I'm very busy with work and a trip to NYC coming so the earliest I can get the new bike will be Saturday, April 12th unless I take a day off work after April 6th.
Yamaha didn't make the red this year... They have an '06 holdover in Red though with no miles. Red just didn't sell as well as the faster blue and the demand for all-black shot through the roof when wavex released Naked II!

I asked why they didn't have any of the new ones out and they said that they are trying to sell the 06's that the have before putting the new design out. they think that nobody will buy the old design if the new one is right next to it. if you do come down, call ahead and let them know that you want the bike ready to go before you get there.
That also gives them some incentive to make a deal with you since they have the bike prepped already and they don't want it to stay.
