Trying to remove my rear sprocket and I can see clips that keep the nuts from backing out. How do you remove these? They have 2 slots in them. I've tried tapping them with a flat-blade screwdriver counterclockwise, but they dont budge. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This run-in with the law has significantly slowed me down. I def don't wanna put myself in this kinda situation again because I know I can't be this lucky twice. I've been watching my speed in my car as well. This was def an eye-opener!
