Started riding in 76 and driving in 77. Got 1 speeding ticket in 88 and now another last week, both times in the cage. Not happy with myself at the moment. :(

take a hi-viz vest, it's compulsory there now. Spare bulbs is always wise. Stay strictly within speed limits within 30ish miles of the port, the Gendarmes are lying in wait for carefree Brits coming off ferries and the shuttle. Most importantly enjoy it

Personally I likes it. As well as that I've come across a few people who just can't do 2 wheels anymore, and this is the closest that they can now get to biking for a lot less than the price of a spyder. I'd love to know just how nippy it is. All in all good luck to whoever gets enjoyment...

Last day of the show is best for bargains. I got a genuine 33% off my arai a couple of years ago, You have to watch out for shoddy copies of stuff though, there have been some warnings from trading standards about rubbish being sold at bike shows. I'm not going this year myself as too many...
