Like others have said, the 650R is definitely lower in terms of seat heights compared to the FZ6. I've ridden both of these bikes and I honestly like them both! They both have upright seating positions and comfy ergonomics.

Checa is having a fantastic year!!! So consistent and very dominant!! Congrats to him and his team!!! On another note, I'm disappointed that Yamaha Factory is not going to be there next season! WTH???

Nice! Looks like a great trip!! 17 of us riders from Sacramento went camping at Mattole Beach on the Lost coast in July. I've actually camped there two years in a row now. Love those roads and all the goat trails. The mist was so thick, it felt like rain.

Nice bike, love them but these adventure bikes aren't designed with inseam challenged people in mind (exception F650gs).

I took mine off for trackdays and been too lazy to put it back on. *shrugs*

I just saw a guy on a cruiser yesterday here in Sacramento, California riding his bike on the freeway without a HELMET!!! We have helmet laws. This just proved that idiots are everywhere!
