From everything described it HAS to be 1 of the three scenarios. 1. Bad battery or connection somewhere 2. Bad charging circuit. Why was the battery dead if you had been riding? 3. Unusual load on battery or short.

I agree with the original thread poster. Exhaust options suck and dont make sense for an FZ6. On everything I own I usually change the exhaust for power, sound, weight, and maybe looks. On the FZ6 you really wont get any more power. So thats not a reason. I have not heard a good sounding...

I do not see how 91 would give anyone less MPG or hurt performance. I know there are other variables but I always understood that higher octane would burn cooler which is important for high compression or high strung engines. To me Yamaha Recommends 91 octane looking at the manual?
