Sounds like it pays off to be nice. Also depends alot on the cop. I got pulled over the other day doing over 90 in a 55. He clocked me at 90 and wrote me for 79. I figured it didn't matter how nice I was or what I did I wasn't going to get out of that one!

Just rode through it again going the other way. The ice and snow is starting to melt away quickly.... also alot more people around. Still a great ride nonetheless!! Elevation up around 8000 ft I think.

I have a shoei rf-1000 and am very happy with it. I liked the features of other brands but they didnt fit me right. IMO its more important to have a helmet that fits correctly than one that looks cool but doesnt fit right.

Its not legal here in NV but if traffic is not cooperating I'll slip through them. I usually stay in my lane and just find openings between lanes to make my way up. Once I get in CA then its a different story.

This is normal for these motorcycles unfortunately. You might check your chain tension. If your chain is looser than spec then it may make the jolt worse. Other than that its normal.

+1 Nelly. I remember seeing one posted on here from another forum from someone who lost fingers cleaning the chain while it was in gear. I've smashed my finger pretty hard just moving the tire and not getting my fingers out of the way. I can't imagine what its like seeing your fingers pop off...
