    FS: 2007 Yamaha FZ6 White

Thanks everyone. I have 2 weeks left to try and sell her. So I dropped the price again. The price is quite far as the used bikes at a dealer are $1500 more than my 5400 and private used bikes were pretty close. This is a well looked after bike, fairly low K's, and looks fantastic! My buddy...

Might be trading up for a s1000RR

Surprise you? More like fall off the back of the bike Wile E. Coyote style!!! I've put a few hundred K on the last few days and been having a lot of fun getting to know this machine. Being 435lbs (wet) and having 170+hp...there's loads of power throughout the rev range. It's a precision...

Might be trading up for a s1000RR

So a long time has passed since I started this and I rode a few other bikes and finally landed on this! a 2008 CBR1000RR. So sweet. Taylormade exhaust and CF shroud and fender eliminator kit (sounds so awesome), power commander, and a few other small things. Only 4000KM on her. A real gem...

    FS: 2007 Yamaha FZ6 White

Price reduced to $5400. OBO. Motivated seller!! I just bought a CBR1000RR ....:cheer: I bought it 4 years ago from Pacific Yamaha with about 3000km on her. Her previous owner had a little 'oops' in the garage and tipped over. The tank was dented, and the plastics on the side all scratched...

Which is the best Sport - Touring Tyre right now?

I also have the PR3's and have 0 complaints. I think the handling is more effected by the suspension on the bike than these tires. I'm 190lbs with gear +a bag or two but still feel pretty great! I've done lots of wet riding on my last big trip and they handle very well. The stock tires were...

When should I be in the 7000-10,000rpm range?

I'm in the same boat as the last few dudes. I get in that range often (above 8K). Around town I'm modest and don't rev it up so high (Also have some scorpion cans so it's nicely loud). Sometimes even around town there are a few twisty bits of road and I usually stay in 2nd gear and rev it like...

How Many Km/Miles do you have?

I didn't get to ride much last year, and this year I have only 4 weeks of riding (*pout*) but I turned over 12,000km just the other day!! I bought my fizzer used with barely 3k on her. She just had a full tune up, new 300v oil, K&N filters, iridium plugs, new tires, and a new exhaust!!! SO MUCH...

Do you want to get a "Taste Of Racing"??

This would be awesome! But I've missed both dates, and will be home to Abby for only 3 weeks this summer (last 2 weeks of Aug and first of sept). Any more dates in late Aug?

What would you do in my shoes with these tire options??

I just got the Michelin PR3's and love em. They were 50 cheaper than the BT 23's (at cost) so I went with them. BUT you already got tires so this post is useless!! :cheer:

Michelin Pilot Road 2 or 3???

    POLL: A-hole competition

Oh man...that guy must have either been new to motorcycling or unlable to properly handle the bike...pretty low speed incident. There's no damage so who cares. It's nice when people take responsiblity for their silliness, but I only get mad if there's damage. I had a similar...

    FZ6 Windscreen Poll

I have the puig DB smoked and really like it. There is one spot that I get a lot of buzzing but overall much better than stock. Also looks sharp with my white paintjob :)

    Pants off dance off...

I just bought some new pants! I got REV'it tornado pants. I'm pretty happy with them. They are light weight but should stand up ok to a few years of abuse. They are not an "overpant" but if you get a size bigger with a non-overpant they become overpants!! These pants are fairly baggy so could...

Michelin Pilot Road 2 or 3???

I've had the 3's for a few thousand km and I give them two large thumbs uP. My bike only had 10,000km but the stock tires sucked. They did not feel good riding aggressively and HORRIBLE if the ground was a little wet (they would slip badly on a wet tar line). The PR3's are awesome in the wet...
