Lol

I have the attention span of a small gerbil.

Won't be doing any road trips next year I don't think and I really missed the ape**** power. 41 horsepower wasn't getting it done even though that GS was pretty sensational in so many other ways. Might try to save up and buy another one down the line who knows.

But for the rest of this season and next year I'll be on the blackness. Took it out for a rip today. Very pleased with myself right about now haha.

Ah...it's in your blood now! You'll never go without again.

NICE:thumbup:

Oh please, you're not giving enough credit to the Gerbil... :BLAA: Adventure bike... that's what you want, not a sport bike... Take a look at the new Triumph 1200 Tiger... That'll get you away from any bear or any other wild animal that might chase you...

Haha I'm thinking I might pick up a really old KLR or something so at least I have the option to tool around local back-country roads near the mountains.

But I'm pretty sure after I crash this thing at the track I'll be keeping it for good. :D

So you've owned an R1 before.....why did you sell the first one?
I'm just curious cause the riding postition on an R1 seems more aggressive, how's that work for you?

p.s. very sexy looking bike though

I've got one that could be fs! Us version though.

Good choice! Admittedly I am a little biased... lol

Congrats!

Too bad you got rid of the GS....maybe go bigger like the Triumph 800XC, f800gs (my beautiful bike), Super Tenere.....but it's too late, you got the R1....

If you still dream of dirt, but don't have dreams of round the world travel, just get a street legal dirtbike. That's what I'm doing sooner or later. They are sweet....

Wanted to do a road trip and decided to use the FZ for the track.

I've been hitting the gym alot this season and am really digging the super aggressive layout. As long as I'm not touring, this thing is juuuuust right.

:D

LOL.. you so crazy, Lone!!
I bet you'll make better use of it this time around now that you have the added track time under your belt.
Bike looks totally hot! Good luck with it!

yeah I really wish I could afford to have another bike in the garage. The 800cc GS is what I'd love to have. I'll see how things go and try to see what I can do for the 2013 riding season.

They are really amazing machines and I will miss the carefree easygoing miles in the middle of nowhere. But for now I want to rip around with my hair on fire haha.

Haha oh for sure! I'm still going to do most of my trackdays on the FZ but will throw it around the track a couple times. For the most part it'll be my "look at me I'm so amazing can I have your phone number" machine haha

Can I have your on-board BMW cup holder?

haha oh but of course my good man

Cappuccino maker is extra though.

Lone just be honest dude ...

admit that you are complete afraid of meeting another beer of some other big creature, with the R1 you have the excuse for not going off road :BLAA::D

...............

In the other hand what a sexy black beast man, congratulations and enjoy it a lot, looking forward for your track videos
