Everything about fork mods

I was thinking just remove the top caps on the stock fz forks as if you were replacing the springs and oil but then put the r6s springs and oil in the fz tubes and put the r6 adjustable top caps on instead of the non adjustable fz ones.:confused:

I think this wouldn't work withouth modification of internal components.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Definately wouldn't work. The inner workings on the R6s fork bolts to the bottom of the fork. There is a compression adjuster on the R6s fork that the FZ6 fork doesn't have. There are probably about 3 or 4 more reasons that it wouldn't work.
