The "Off Topic" thread...

:( Sunday's a no-go for me. Missus is working heaps of OT at the moment, and wants to get out on Sunday.

Thinking getting the new tyre, and keeping this one to put back on when the weather gets better and I do get out for some rides with the crew.

There is a distinct line going around the tyre just to left of centre (as you look at it), and can feel a slight "ridge".
Would you ride on this or get it replaced asap???
Hopefully the rain is all but gone (I'm really over winter... bring on Summer), but still not comfortable riding with it like that.

I say bin it.....i have a half decent Road 2ct front at my joint, which is still in perfect shape, and has about 3000km's of tread left on it, or a Conti Sport Attack, in similar condition, you can have either if you like...

I'd go for the tyre-flaw angle and contact the distributer and see if you can get a free new one. Afterall if there is a problem with their tyres they aren't aware of you are doing them a favour.

I'm back.......

After being just about "forum-less" for a few days, due to my wireless router packing up (1 month AFTER the warranty ran out, went into the city today - as it's about the only place in Perth open on Sunday :eek: and bought a new one. :D

Been too cold to sit in the office at the back of the house and use the computer. Much rather been in front of the open fire with my lap top.

So here I am, watching Parramatta V Tigers, Mike is making pizza dough (he's my bitch today :D) and kicking back.

It's a good life ;)
 
My oldest son,Lachlan and me scored free members tickets to the Port V Melbourne game today .Perfect day for footy and Troy Chaplin's 100th match , so off we went.
Was a great afternoon .We had a great time :cheer:

Only just saw this. I might take you up on that offer, I think my hot water service is about to die, and my life wouldn't be worth living if I spent my money on a tyre and the missus had to have a cold ahower in the morning.. :rof:

I would dress as just about anything you like, in the name of fun! Is better if i get paid for doing it, but regardless, i would do it anyway, if i did'nt have to!

I reckon my legs would look hot in some red stockings! :BLAA:
