Maybe he meant a GSR600 aren't they learner legal? Or something with a similar name to that.

Is he going the usual Gixxer route? "Sports riding gear: shorts, tshirt, thongs"?

Took my nan out for her shopping this morning, and on the way home a motorcycle cop went past on the other side of the road! Anyway next thing I know he did a Uturn and is coming back towards me, and it was just me, and another ute behind me.
The lights came on, and he pulled over the ute (although it took the driver a while to realise!)
I wasnt doing anything wrong but have to admit the good ole rush of blood when you hear/see a siren and lights.

Well, it's the same guy that was chucking stuff around at work today (rant thread)... Need I say more :rof:
It's definately a GSXR though, older model ('96 I think he said).

Lots of the local lads are getting rid of the Busa's etc and going for the GSXR750's. Very nice looking bikes and very adjustable. Go hard and handle sweet. Stock with Yoshi pipe, etcetera, etcetera. $13,999 onroad makes them pretty afordable.:thumbup:(My dream track bike):rockon:

They all wear gear, and like twisty riding though...lol.

Has only taken the idiots 20 years to work out that the Gixxer 750, is the pick of the litter....

And they have been that price in SA for 12 months...and people still are not buying them in BIG numbers....just goes to show, what they say about the Aussie Sportsbike market...it's gotta be a litre bike, or nothing....it's like big exhaust pipes on 4 cylinder cars....Size does matter to some!

Thats still an understatement lol, where all the aussies blocked from posting by some freak internet failure? (Someone tripped over the big wire going offshore)

If I went for a faired bike it would be the Gixxer 750, they are definately an amazing peice of work! That being said I'm more into the nakeds.
Speed Triple is still my dream bike overall :P

I really only end up liking naked's, but there are a few Faired bikes i like....such as the Gixxer 750....not so much for it's looks, but it's specs, and the Ducati 1098...

But the bike i would really like, is a Ducati Streetfighter, or a big ol K1300R! :smoking:
 
I saw a guy on the K1300R at work the other day, parked on the roof parking. Very different look but pretty cool.

Can't say I'm a fan of the streetfighter though, saw a few in person a while back and they just didn't live up to my expectations in the flesh.
I've liked the Ducati 848 since it came out however :p
 
Thought I'd post a pic of the Healtech GI Pro gear indicator Mike bought me.

Installed on the dash - very small and non-intrusive.
