The "Off Topic" thread...

Just had the Crows/Bombers game on in the background while waiting for MotoGP qualifying & umm did the Bombers even show up ??? :D

Yeah, i watched that...gotta wait for it to finish here in Adelaide...before we get MotoGP qualifying...so am avoiding racing threads right now!

The Bombers were terrible! The Crows, much improved, but too late in the year for them...But at least they will go ahead of the Power - less! :D

Now, get me started on Carlton....they are going ok right now.

:D

Well I got to meet Humps today at the airport.
Top bloke and very easy to get along with .We were supposed to meet up for a beer the day before but my phone got dropped and wouldn't work so we couldn't contact each other :( and by the time I got a new one it was too late in the day.

Dan rode for an hour to share a coffee and a chat with us for 30 mins,(not that he minded the ride) I appreciated the effort he put in to say g,day.

Cheers Dan,it was great to finally meet you:thumbup:

Who would have thought i could go for an early morning ride through the twisties & stumble across a drop bear  especially one down out of the trees & a loooong way from home :D

An hours ride for coffee is nothing when your a mate , i would have ridden more than that if i had to ... I think i've made some great friends on this forum & would ride an hour to have coffee with them anyday  ... Hope you had a great flight home , i know i flew home :BLAA: even if i was nearly squashed by a police orificer who didnt check his blind spot  :spank: but i'll save that for another rant...

XXXX is actually growing on me. My footy club is sponsered by XXXX Gold so I have been trying to do the right thing and use their product and I gotta say it's growing on me. God knows why a Tassie footyclub has a XXXX sponsorship when we have the 2 finest
brewery on Aus already here.

And we plan on visiting them in March :D

Ironically I won't drink VB, but I don't mind XXXX, the father in law drinks it because I think its not too bad for diabetics, and I have to admit I've grown more used to it too.

While you're down there you might take those Winnebagos here....

For the times i wish i had the video camera out and ready to use....

Spook went to leave my place two nights ago on his 250. Problem was his front wheel didn't want to leave.

He didn't realize this until he was on his arse on my front lawn at 02:30am.

Upon careful inspection the next day it soon dawn on us that the caliper had overheated from a ride earlier that day and spat out the dust seal of one of the caliper pistons.

The piston didn't want to let go. So much so that I lifted the bike up by gripping a spoke and it didn't move at all!

Better on my lawn that mid-corner on the way home.
