Well, last world cup (4 years ago) it was France (a lot of people doubted they would get that far) and Italy playing the final.

Now, both of them are out of the world cup on the first round!!!!!!!!

Very well done for team USA to win their match and advance to the next round, either way, they could have used any of the 90 initial minutes to score and not keep us so tense!!!!!!

Congrats to our fellow Australians, even though they're going home, they're not going empty handed (one won and one tied)

I'm really sick of those $%%^$$#@#! horns blowing every second. Really sick of it. I think it detracts from the game itself. Is this something that only Africans do? I don't get it. It sounds like 70,000 fans all farting throughout the game. It's disgusting. Somebody ought to grab every last one of those obscenties and ram them up good from behind and all the way. Is that what soccer fans do, blow on one of those the whole game? There should be a "horn detector" at the stadium entrance (just like a metal detector) and all confiscated horns should be piled up to be run over by a bulldozer. Go USA.

Yeah, what a bummer that Ghana knocked us off again. Maybe, we should send some troops over there (Ghana) to teach them a lesson. (probably would be a better objective than Afganistan). Soccer is such a relief w/o 1,000,000 timeouts, replays/reviews, etc. I really like the game a lot more now after having watch the USA team. Horns still suck though.

Out classed today, England have a lot of work to do now if they want to compete with the best. But saying that its getting time FIFA installed goal line cameras then there would be no argument with playback. I could have seen that ball cross the line from the moon. We're not bagging your country. Just those horns - they are disgusting. They might be foreigners blowing them, but they are YOUR horns. They should be banned.

Horns etc are already banned in Australia - from cricket matches, rugby league, rugby union and Aussie rules games.

We prefer to hear the crowds cheering our teams than a boring horn.

Yeah, whatever, I would like to get my hands on one of those. Now, I want to travel to South Africa someday I hope you won't hold anything against me. There's plenty in USA that sucks (I think many countires have suck issues).
