Well, since we're already off topic anyway, I still nod to HD riders, and especially now, get a lot back.....I think my bike must look a little scarey:BLAA:.
As for Aussie slang...lol....it all makes sense, and if you grow up with it, you're used to it.
Like any one with a surname Rhodes, is Dusty.
Williams, is Bungy.
White is Chalky etc.
Then there's the usual, Timbo's etc.
Then there's the generic, mates and cobbers....Of course you can shorten cobber to cobs.
And of course a certain level of abuse by mates is expected.....you know. Like when you're eating in a ships mess and someone says, "Huck us the slide chum."(pass us the butter friend). They more or less expect an answer like, " Why don't you sit in front of it next time Jug Ears". They will probably ask you if something is wrong if they don't get abused....lol.
And to be brutally honest.....I think there's only one word in the Aussie language. It is made up of all the words grunted joined together. Never finish a word or start it at the beginning unless you're a little....well.....suss.
). There's now a (thankfully buff-able) 3" vertical scratch on the left side of my tank. Looks like somebody did it with a shoe while mounting or dismounting. No respect for rides out there.:spank:
