Well, someone "stole" my FZ6 today because their semi had a flat tyre! :spank: Must have been when he was pushing his riding on Saturday to try to show me up (didn't work though - had a wicked ride and kept up the whole time, event through the twisties......) I'm getting better and more confident each ride.

Loving it! :cheer::cheer:

Dont worry, he will be leaving the Semi home soon on group rides that include you....He will need the Speed Triple to keep you in check... :D

Stay safe.

He didnt really have a flat tyre...he let the air out on purpose, so he had an excuse to ride your bike, and see what it is really like....Cause he knows that it is a "weapon", compared to the "Semi"...

Well, my mum had a fall while bushwalking yesterday at Walyunga National Park - had to get picked up by the ranger in his 4WD.

She broke her left wrist and had a titanium plate inserted last night. She also has a lot of stiches in her left leg and has to have it in a splint for 1-2 weeks.

She's in really good spirits and came home this afternoon. Dad has to do everything for her for the next few days, until she's a little mobile.

Got me thinking how easy it is to hurt yourself and not be able to ride. Then I realised that these mad MotoGP riders will have surgery during the week, pain killing injections then hop on the bike and win a race.

CRAZY!

Bugger! Sounds like a nasty fall....glad your Mum is sorta ok....

Yeah, that sorta stuff does remind you how easy it is to hurt yourself...

Bet your Dad is super impressed that he has to do "everything" for the next few days, although, i bet he is just happy your Mum is ok, too!

And Yes, Bike Racers do some crazy stuff, to get back on the bike, and hopefully not miss out on too many points...

Sorry for your Mum Kaz, glad she's "doing well", as well as can be expected.

As for me, it must be a full moon tonight, all the crazies are out in cars today.
I have a 30 minute commute from work to home. First up, just left work, and got stuck behind a car doing 40 in a 50 zone. As she gets to the lights, (about 5 metre's from the line), the lights turn orange and she slams on the brakes... Her entire car was over the line???:spank::spank::spank: At least it was slow enough that I didn't slam into the back of her.

Got past her quickly, down to the next set of lights. There's a taxi-bus in the left lane, and a hoon in his ford in the right, so I split down to the front. Lights go green, so I take off, head for the left lane, and this idiot turns from the left into my lane right as I got there... Luckily, the hoon almost stalled on the lights, so I had room to move over. I slowed down again and looked at the idiot, did a bit of a wave/shrug thing, and he just ignored it.:spank: SOOOOOOO wish I had a pocket full of ball-bearings.

Anyway, I got away from him, about 15 minutes later, trucks in the left lane, and another STUPID Idiot in the right, doing 40 in a 70 zone.. weaving all over the place, and getting even slower. Finally he dcided he wanted to turn right, there is a merging lane (days road off of south road), the tool stayed on south road right up until just before the lights, and when he did move over, he nearly ploughed into another car that had used the merge lane as it's meant to be used. :spank:

I think I need a beer.

Thanks guys.

Just came back from her place. Feeling a bit sorry for herself.

I did the old Chop Chop "Harden the f**k up, Stefan!". Made her laugh......
