Hello my FZ6 brothers and sisters,

Well my wife got me the leather jacket that I've had my eye on for quite some time (see photo below). So, of course I had to get something for myself, and that's my new Pazzo Clutch and Brake lever. They haven't arrived yet but I'm like a kid expecting a new toy.

I ordered the black levers with dark purple adjusters but the adjusters were not available in that color until Jan. No way I could wait that long, so I went with black adjusters. Hey, I figured other colors would not match my cobalt blue. Was hopeing to get them before Christmas day but the hold up on the adjuster may throw a wrench in those plans.

If anyone have these installed, can you give me your opinion on them? Thanks.

BTW, yes, I did get something for my wife, gold ear rings, she will be very happy with those and her other presents.

You made a VERY good choice, my friend! :thumbup:

I've had Pazzo shorties (black with royal blue adjusters) for two years now and I have to say, they're one of my favorite mods. I couldn't believe how easy they were to install and the difference in the pull is NIGHT AND DAY! It's so smooth and really helps with the small friction zone on the FZ6.

Being able to adjust them, on the fly, is really a great feature too. I've played with them many times in the twisties, just to see if I could find a setup that works better for short, quick shifts. It's just a simple flick of the finger and off you go.

You're really going to enjoy them, I promise. IIRC (because it's been so long since I installed mine), just remember to keep that little cylindrical sleeve that's on the stock clutch lever for reuse on the Pazzos. You'll know what I'm talking about when you remove the stock clutch lever (because, like everyone else, you'll forget it's there and let it drop off the screw that goes through the handlebar mount and lever and let it fall to the floor, causing a major cussing fit as you crawl around looking for it. Wait...that was just me???)

Im acually up in Leesburg, my sense close as it relates to driving distance is a bit larger than most what can i say, i like to drive. There is a small group of us that start our ride in manassas then head up 50 to winchester and then do the mountian twisties. Last ride I was the only sport bike on the ride so if its not too far for you I will let you know when it is... there are also a bunch on the forum all in NOVA so we can try to get an FZ only ride too.

Understood. I like to drive too. I'm really looking forward to the ride now. Sounds outstanding. Not too far for me at all.

I tried to get a group going for the DC, NOVA area. Only got a few responses though. Maybe that will grow now that I'm actually up here and will get a chance to meet all of you. COME ON SPRING!!

I was planning on ordering them off ebay as well, dollar/euro rates are very good for shopping on ebay right now..
But what would you guys recommend, shorty's or regular??
I tend to brake with 2 fingers, but after a few hundred miles I use the entire hand cus my fingers get tired lol..

I decided to go with the standard lengths. I only use two fingers sometimes so the standard length ones where an easy choice.

I know I won't get the same power from two fingers than with four.

Of course, it's a personal choice.

I got my Pazzo's today and I've installed them and I must say, they make a huge difference in feel. Outstanding. The installation was very easy and straightforward. The brake is easier to install than the clutch only because I had a slight issue with removing the clutch cable.

The clutch lever is a huge improvement over stock. It drastically changes the friction zone engagement. Much less effort when using the clutch and it makes the zone much closer to the bar and not all the way out near the end of clutch release. Simply amazing.

The brake: the position of the lever is much better and more adjustable so it feels better to my hand. Engagement zone is smaller as well. I can feel the difference but it's not as noticeable as the clutch.

Definately well worth the purchase. Here are some pictures.

Just about ready to buy some of these myself - however started to think - heaps of roadworks where I am at the moment and I quite often sit in traffic clutch in/out/in/out/hold/release/hold for 5 minutes, etc,etc. I'm wondering if I actually have the strength to hold in the clutch for several minutes with only 2 fingers..... Are they easier to pull/hold in? Can you get 3 or 4 fingers on them if need be? Or should I just get the standard length to be sure?

Yes on all accounts and the shorties should be just fine!

Nice and blunt reply. That's what I like. Might run with the shorties then (unless others jump in screaming). Definately love the look of the shorties more.

Just a thought here.. Haven't seen anyone so far in MotoGP, WSBK, WSS or BSB who use shorties.. :don'tknow: I'll stick to regular length levers:Flash:

Would love to see some pics of the shorties on someones bike, like Ryan T's above (I'm guessing pics above are regular length). Maybe even with someone's hand/fingers for reference.
