I dunno I wouldn't be suprised if they aren't reproductions from what his car used. Bloody horrid tyres if you ask me.
If there is one thing I'll never skimp on, apart from safety gear, servicing, taking care of the bike, and chocolate, its buying good tyres.
 
Flashdance "School Disco" theme night tonight at work, 2500-3000 People....lots of beautiful Uni student young ladies in School Dresses....and Suspenders, and heals!!! :D

On a serious note people, those SA Fizzers that have been to Speedway with me, will know that i am pretty decent mates with Trevor Green....champion Sprintcar Driver, and Champion bloke!

Well, i just got a phone call, letting me know that Greeny had an racing accident last night in Toowoomba, and is in Hospital, and in a pretty bad way, aint been told much, but apparently he might loose his Spleen, and there was mention of broken vertebrae....

Have tried to find out more, but as yet, without any success...

Crikey mate. You mentioned geting a call about a mate having an accident in QLD earlier, but didn't mention it was Greenie:(. Hope it's not too bad. Seems like a pretty decent sort to me, and a gutsy competitor.

Far out...no wonder you were a bit outta sorts.

Yeah, the phone call i was awoken by today sorta put me in a stranger mood than normal! :eek:

Still dont know bugger all, but i will do my best to find out what's going on in the morning...could'nt find anything on the web today....

I am just hoping he is all good! friends dont normally ring and tell you about a stack, unless there is a reason...

Oh crap, that sucks.
Hope the damage isn't too bad and he recovers quickly.

Well i have just got off the phone, just spoken to Greeny himself for about half an hour....

Prognosis is not good, but not awful!

He has broken the L2 vertebrae in his back, plus 3 other fractures, and a bruised spleen....

He is in a brace, but will walk again, and race again, but not for a good 12 months!

Doctors have told him that he was a millimetre away from being in a chair for the rest of his life, and if it was not for the 3 fractures, his spinal column would of probably been severed!

Trev's spirits are pretty decent considering, and at this point, he is already looking to find someone to drive his car for the rest of the season...

So in the end, Trevor is very lucky!
