I will never deal with them again. That is all.

Let us know how your credit card company views this issue (and which card it is). I would very much like a TS seat, but I'm not willing to jump through any hoops if the seat arrives defective. American Express has backed me up when I have had little customer service issues in the past. I was thinking about rolling the dice (with the backing of AMEX or Visa), but it'd be good to know whether that's really a backup or not.
Will do, the dispute is in. I dont want a free seat, i just want it fixed which i think is fair. I mean TS didn't even offer to pay shipping for at least ONE WAY. Talk about not working with the customer. :Flip:
I would have 0 problems doing a charge back on a company like this! It's either hit or mis with theme. It seems the mis is more common that the hit lately.
At this point I have been credited by my CC company for the full charge. I dont expect this to be the end of it at this point. I will post more info as it comes. Tomorrow I go to a local auto upholstery shop which does motorcycle seats as well to see what it would cost to fix the seat. Just an estimate since I dont want to do anything until all is said and done.
You do know that on a charge-back, the goods purchased are not yours and that it is the responsibility of Top Saddlery to pick them up from you (pre-paid shipping label) correct? :spank:![]()

I just don't want him to waste any money on it only to discover that it will be returned. There's always a chance that TS will just take the loss and say screw it too.![]()

As indicated on the private answer we sent you today, we post on the forum the full text of this answer :
Such a tear could only have been caused by improper use of the seat, e.g. it having been dropped by just a few tens of cm onto a hard floor,
"that such a tear in the front part of the seat could have occurred spontaneously"
If TS knows their seat material can 'spontaneously' fail........ why are they using that material? 'Spontaneous' combustion happens to Pintos, and drummers.... and laptop batteries.
