Would someone please name this color for 2007?

I've been looking at fz6 ads for over a month and have yet to see this color on a 2007?

Up to this point I thought there were only 2 color blues for this year - the bright blue and the dark blue (cobalt, I think).

Would someone please help me out and tell me what the factory name is for this color?

There was no Cobalt for 2007. The only blue in 2007 was "Team Yamaha Blue"

I believe that's an 06 or earlier in the picture not an 07 and the pic has a little bit of extra red hue in it so it's a little off the blue that they did in say 06...

Right.
Here in Germany we had both models 2007/2006.

The "S2"-model (what you call >=2007 model) and the "non-S2"-model (what you call 2004-2006 model).

On the picture you see a 2006 FZ6 Fazer ("non-S2"-model) in DPBMC (Deep Purplish Blue Metallic Coc ktail) aka Yamaha Blue.

It's the "old" 2004-2006 model in the same color as the 2007-S2 model.

I snagged that photo from topspeed.com. They show a red color in the photo gallery as well as a lighter blue.. confused. oh well, getting used to it

I saw 2007 and ran with it. The pic is an '06 (Black frame and squared swingarm are the giveaways) and they listed that particular year as a simple "Blue" where '04 and '05 were Galaxy Blue, '07 is Team Yamaha Blue, '08 is Cobalt blue and the '09 is Deep Blue.

Thats why i went with black, cause black is black or.... raven.....metalic black..... ok nvm lol
