Well i'm about to wrap up my xs chopper build,and I have alot of left over part's..allmost enough to build another bike..They fat rear wheel has been played and played till for me it's all played out!! LOL I am going to build a skinny wheel bike,I'm not sure if I want to go hardtail with it or leave the rear suspension this time,so i thought I would post a poll and get yall's input on the situation..what style would you prefer?? :rockon: :D http://www.600riders.com/forum/bar/14094-i-bought-yamaha-xs650-chopper.html#post178558

Hard to say.... I love the clean lines of the hardtail, but the suspension would be nice.
If you're going with newer style components and looks, go with suspension. If going for more of a vintage look, hardtail.

I thank you sir for the compliment! but skill is the only thing i have. LOL...Time and money...... well I do my best to use it wisely... I have most of the part's left over from the chopper project.... only thing i will need is the 21" inch hoops and some spokes to make my Big wheel's and an engine and wiring harness i hope to find on Ebay and Craigslist....I am hoping to complete this build for less than $500.00 us dollars over a few month time span...I only bought one new part during the Chopper build everything else i bought used from the internet...my total on the chopper bill including the initial purchase of a complete running bike and the stretched frame was $1,600.00 took around $400.00 more in part's to get it all sorted... :rockon:

Stopped by the Triumph dealership this weekend to look at some '09 Bonneville SE :drool: and the sales man told me he was going to get a couple of Steve McQueen Desert Racer replicas this week... $20k and it's yours!

This is some of my inspiration for this project.....i'm going to run 21" wheels front and back and clip on's for handle bars!! and only the bare nesesity's to get it down the road... :rockon: :D

You know I have been leaning towards the desert racer too.It would be the cheapest route and the most functional,and ridable of the skinny wheel option's.I should have put that in the poll !! :rockon: :D
