comdemn is not a word.

You are missing a comma in the first sentence.

The computer corrects spelling and grammar, not language.

"I'm a word person I'm sorry!!" is missing more punctuation. (That is two sentences.)

Shouldn't that be "Condemn me anyway!!!" not "away" ??

"I just re-read and I am an A$$hole I know!!" Either a comma to separate, or this is two sentences once again.

My Australian apparently needs some work (I know what blokes and posh mean, the rest is a bit murky). Right, well moving on! As for spelling, well I am not perfect, which is why I use Firefox. This prevents me from coming off as a slightly mentally underdeveloped person who hasn't quite figured out how to spell his own name.

Most of the time I can understand what people are saying. Proper (heck I will shoot for close!) spelling and grammar helps, but it is does not need to be perfect. Besides, if we do not keep it interesting, this place might actually be boring!!

spelling and grammar arent always a must and neither is punctuation as long as you dont write in one long run on sentence so that we are wondering if you are asking a question or making a statement or where is the beginning and where is the end and THIS LOOKS LIKE SHOUTING AND WE ARENT TOO FOND OF IT and few of us americans can actually figure out what the aussies are talking about but they seem to be a good bunch and helpful too but remember that the human eye sees ov as of and it all looks and means the same and unless someone directly pointed it out to you then you wouldnt have noticed it anyway.......breath.........and actually i really do talk like this most of the time but try to behave better in the forum so that my questions actually look like questions and i dont look or seem like a total idiot i hope this helps

moses, probably not the best way to say it, but i can somewhat agree. the point of a forum is to communicate. if someone doesn't spell things correctly or use proper punctuation that can be difficult. and at that point you lose foundation.

language is one of the first things to de-evolve in a society. so it really shouldn't be a surprise to read improper english. but it should be a little troubling. and this is coming from someone that hates to use capital letters and is never really sure when to end a sentence... hence the use of .... all the time.

Honestly, the spelling and grammar always bothers me, but I just do not say anything about it. I resist the urge to correct posts but when I quote someone's mistakes, I correct them in the quotes most of the time.

You'll see most of my messages showing me editing them. I find my own mistakes and correct them. It's just me being anal about me.

I do the exact same thing Eric. I have learned if you catch the mistake quick enough after you post, it doesn't show that you have edited it lol

I don't mind the spelling mistakes in the posts, but when there is spelling or grammar mistakes in the thread title...I have to sit on my hands to keep from correcting it. It seems if I have to read it once, I'm ok with it. If a mistake keeps popping up every time I hit "home" I go a little crazy.
