The "Off Topic" thread...

Well I just got home from work, parked the bike and got myself a beer ,all good so far you might say .
Well no,heard a hissing noise and looked around "whats that nice shiny thing hanging out the rear of my 4k old 2ct ?"
A bloody 2 inch screw that's what !

CRAP !!!!
Made a call and they won't plug them any more ,got to get a tube $55 + $20 to fit !

WHAT ! I say,yup that the price or it's a new tyre .So guess what I,m doing in the morning !

Be careful tubeless tyrtes normally have ridges going sideways in the tyre which will(could) destroy the tube. They do say do not tube a tubeless tyre.

If it were me, unless I was really strapped for cash at the time I'd grab a new one. It's better for ensuring your safety:thumbup:. They only last me six weeks anyway so it's no dramas for me, but I'm aware that other folk won't budget quite the same.

Cheers
Mike

Have you had that thing in frozen storage for the last 40 years???

Looks like a brilliant night.

lol....i had that jacket made for me...is very furry, and popular with the ladies!

yes it was anawesome night...the MJ tribute went off like a frog in a box...i broke the DJ console with my butt, managed to rack up a $400 drink account (thanks boss), and ended up in the company of some much more attractivethan me, female types by the end of it all..paying for it now...headache, aching bones, and a grazed butt from where i took out the DJ Console, moshing!!!!

ypu lot have to come along one night, and enjoy my (my boss's hospitality), one night soon!

Well finally got my rear wheel back in . I got it all together but do you think the damn axle would go through .............nope.Word to the wise, make sure the back brake is located in the swingarm correctly BEFORE trying to fit axle !

Once i realised and lined it up properly it went through easy.

EDIT:GC motorcycles did the puncture repair for me and it's under new management. They have 30ltr Givi's for $160 hmmmm.
