The "Off Topic" thread...

Ok guys , i went to the local Kwaka dealer this arvo and priced the rego rolls .....The cute little sales girl with looooong brown hair   talked me into buying a ZX-14  :justkidding: :justkidding:......Nah she said she'll ring me tomorrow with a group buy price for the rego rolls :D......I'll keep you informed

Yeah i will but it will be small :(....Hope they are members , i saw 7 riding around up here today

I have seen 5 fz6's in my drive way in the last 2 days!

Yeah,whats with that ,lol

Well Humpy said he had 7 FZ's the other day...then i thought about it, and realised that i had 5 of the buggers at my house.....My 2, Stumbles's, Ozzieboy's & Ozfazer's!!!

Thought it was rather quirky!

I hardly ever see them on the road in Adelaide!!! Except when we forum boys are all riding together!

I went to the RidingSA coffee night last night, and I think I "sold" an FZ6R to one of the chicks there.

She's been looking for a new bike, but she's rather "vertically challenged", so I mentioned the FZ6R and she loved it, and as soon as they come into Oz, she will buy one.

Anyone heard when they are getting here, there's no mention of it on the Yamaha website.

She wants the White with purple decals.

:)

Yeah, I saw on another forum somewhere (???) that they were supposed to arrive in March, thought there'd be something at least on the Yamaha website, but there's a big fat NOTHING there.

Oh yeah, and a new member at RSA was there on her ZX6R, think she missed a gear on the way out and dropped her lovely bike, only just moving, was still in the carpark (and it's a crap carpark too... un-even, on the side of a hill).

Poor thing, she's tiny, bent her clutch lever, and she got a bruised knee (and ego), but ok apart from that.
Better to drop it there than on the road with cagers flying at her.

:)

Tell her not to feel too bad,I did the same thing on my RX when I forgot about the padlock on the rear disc

hey any SA fizzers going to the clipsal 500 this weekend? I am not, will be the first time in 10 years I have not worked in pit lane...

Hope Lowndes wins...go FORD!

I was thinking about it, but then with all my down-days with reduced pay and now my wife's speeding ticket, think I'll just sit home and watch it on channel 7. At least the drinks will be cheaper here

:)

For all you southern guys, a few of the RidingSA guys got sick of the politics and crap at RSA, so they have started their own forum...

Real Riding

Some good, funny guys and girls, I head down to their coffee nights whenever I can.

I know, ANOTHER bloody forum, just thought I would mention it.

Hehehe, no worries.

HAGG15 (the guy who started the site... Shaun) is a Scottish fella, great laugh. He and a few of the others went over to the "Island" for the Superbikes too... You'll have heaps to talk about. You may have bumped into him, I think he spent some time up in the area above the pits too.

:)

Dunno, but i just found pictures of my bikes on there!!!! And posted rude things about Amy's Bike, and "sniffing" options! Oh Gosh!

well first day down and i got to say we got crap seats. we are in gold stand in wakefield st right at one end we can see 20 meteres of track at flat out speed. The hype of all grandstand seats under shade, well ours arent, full sun the whole time we were there. On a good note caught up with one of the guys from GRM cause i won a day in the pits with them on saturday, so today i got my pit shirt and pit hat. The guy told me we are going to be out on the grid before the race, and sounds like this will be a great day.
