Crazy custom BMW D1200R...Single sided front fork?!?!

Saw this on a local board and thought I'd post it here because Ive never seen a bike like this....Called a Demostener D1200R. I cant believe how far the motor sticks out. Looks like it would hit the ground in a good lean..

LED headlights too...Wonder the output of such a set-up

very cool looking bike, Yamaha had a bike in the 80's that have the single sided front and rear swingarm. Deftinately an interesting to see. I can't find the picture, but i saw one last summer on one of the FZ rides that we did at the beginning.

The front single fork is nothing new. The Yamaha GTS 1000 had it a long time ago.

That BMW is a great looking bike though.

I work for BMW, and I am ashamed at the fugly bikes they make...all of them...I cant stand them.

Very interesting. The front brake looks like it was taken right off a Buell. Also looks like it's got ABS.

The front looks, as suggested, like a pair of wishbones turned round.

I'd buy a bike with this kind of set-up, if they made them at a reasonable price. If they had this kind of geometry in MotoGP maybe it would create some appeal!?
