LOL, how weird, just went and got my new engine cover, and went to maxi Moto to get some oil at the right price, and guess what I bought instead of the usual shell vsx, motul 7100, 20w50!

Am at Gary's now, just took packaging off engine cover, and find out it's silver, NOT FREAKIN HAPPY! So now I have to take the freaking thing back and wait for the shop to get the right one! Aarrrrgh!

Just finished putting my baby back together, clutch feels much better now, still not as easy as yours though Jamie, maybe I need some Pazzo or ASV levers too... man... It never ends :banghead:

The stress you go through just doing the cable is nuts. You guys with Naked's don't know how good you got it. Sure, I get protection from the wind (a bit), but everything else is a royal pain in the butt.

Might go for a cruise down the beach and try out the clutch, just to make sure it's good to go for work tomorrow night.

Seems OK, harder to move than the new one (I checked that before hooking it up.)

I opened the adjustment nut's in the middle and looked at the cable, seems ok. I sprayed some greaseless lubricant in there, and freed it up a little bit.
I'll just chuck it in the shed for an emergency spare, if the need ever arises.



And on the oil, Motul is the way to go. (I got the hint from Jamie's mate Gary, Thanks Gaz.)

5 MONTHS AND COUNTING!!!!!! In the end i had to order a 520 conversion kit to get a -2 sprocket on the front!

Only reason i did not open the packaging in the shop is because i did not want to risk scratching it before i got it on the bike....taking it back tomorrow and getting my money back...have just about had enough!

Am going to take the one i have got on there now, and fix it( well Gary is going to fix it).

My axle & fork sliders have been on back order for 4 months.

My replacement number plate light for my fender eliminator has been on order for 4 months.

Freaking bike shops...they drive me nuts.

Rant complete!!!!!!!!

Just got back from a cruise down the beach, the clutch is a major improvement. Felt so strange at first, like there was nothing there to pull in.

No wonder my left arm was so sore after a long ride, probably why my forearm is bigger on that arm too :rof:
