the boys in blue are everywhere tonight too, like last night, they have encircled the entire city area with breatho's, no escape without a blow on their pipes!

Im getting worried bout you blokes , blowing pipes and polishing knobs :spank: , i think im might be to scared to drink with ya's :thumbup:

I havent forgotten about the Hoffmobile either Wolf just been real busy with work and the wife's b/day :thumbup: hope i can have it done tomorrow LOL

well 6.30 sun morn and its not raining, not sunny either. Eagerly waiting for deb to get out of bed so i can get things moving. Worked for a couple of hours yesterday trying to wire up new intercom, through 2 way radio,s but cant get speakers to work, and i dropped the soldering iron on the new carpet and burnt a hole in it( guess whos not happy with me), see you guys soon, if they dont fall off youll see us coming, i have more tinsle on the bike than on the house.

another toy run done and dusted. Our turn out was me wolf stumbles ozzie oz my mate matt(sorry wolfs mate matt)and our newby adrian. heres lots of shots well so i thought a hour later and cant put photos up.

I'll have some panoramics:thumbup:, some vid (courtesy of Jules and Lady Jules...lol.) and some pics from my camera as well tomorrow. Just arrived home after a particularly long day and will post up tomorrow.....I am knackered...lol. Left at 8AM and got home around 2AM.....18 hour day anyone?

I did tell the Wolfman I'd slap up a bit of a post on a nasty mishap after the toy run, so I'll do that last thing before I go to bed. We decided to go home via Lobethal road after the run and so that's what we did.

A bit if drizzle started falling on the way down so we came off the pace well and truly....not that we were going too hard for fear of radars.

We were nearly at the bottom and all set to head back through the traffic to Wolf's place when the 4WD we had been following for a few hundred metres at least, slammed on the brakes for no apparent reason leaving Wolfman few options on the greasy road and then to my complete horror turned across his avoiding path....then came the single flash of the indicator:spank:........OMFG. Left Wolfman nowhere to go.

It turns out that they'd been looking for the turnoff to go pick some cherries and when they saw it they went for it with total disregard for traffic:shakehead:.

Fortunately we had been sitting behind this guy at 40-50km/h so we weren't going too quickly but the impact as Wolfman hit was pretty harsh even so.

As soon as I saw he had nowhere to go I hit my hazzards and headed for the side of the road. Parked and jumped off bike to go help him and to my great relief saw him getting up to move his bike:cheer:.

Bike came off....well not too badly....would've been better had the axle sliders been on.

Unfortunately Wolfman didn't fair quite as well and may have broken a rib.

Basically he braked hard then locked the rear to turn the bike side on to miss getting into some real nasty spots, but managed to hip and shoulder the rear right hand corner of the 4WD.

Ouch.......man that is a picture I'll have going through my head for a while.

Why, oh, why don't these dumb (really nasty expletive deleted) realise that if they miss their freaking turn off they can come back to it:rtfm:. It's like a desperation do or die dive onto the brakes and turn with the old last minute indicator trick on slick roads.

Stumbles stayed with him while I took off to high ground seeking phone coverage and kept his spirits up.

We got Matt (ute) to pick up him and his bike (good onya again Matt you legend mate) and took him to hospital. Went and got him some food afterwards and dropped him off at home. He probably won't be posting tonight......in a lot of pain....but at least his home and hobbling about.

Damn guys,Hope Jamie is ok .That really sucks.I was going to go with you guys after the run but didn't like the look of the weather and I got rained on from Crafers to Coro Valley so was glad I didn't .


One of my pet hates are 4 wheel drives,they just don't seem to care about anything around them.

holy crap, im a bit glad i didnt come with you too, with me and the missus on the bike i wouldnt have pulled up at all. Good to hear it wasnt as bad as it could have been, but hey it sucks. Heal quick my friend, you had a feeling about the toy run, but it wasnt about coming home

Yeah, it was a great day until the ride home. Then, everything turned to .... well, you know what!!!

I couldn't believe it when I came around the bend and saw Mike's bike on the side with hazards on, then saw Jamie limping around. Bloody Sunday drivers :jawdrop:

Mike... Ozziboy... Mate... You are the true definition of a mate :thumbup:
I would like to thank you for staying with Jamie and helping our buddy get home, then to the hospital, then to take him back home again... You, my friend, are an amazing fella :rockon: :rockon:

I'm sorry I had to bail, lucky I did in the end, as when I got back into phone range, got a message that my wife had taken her mum to hospital. Mike and Jamie know the details, but the short of it, she had an abscess on her back tooth that was spreading to her throat and closing her airway.
Was transferred to RAH, and had an operation overnight, tooth has been removed, and she is now recovering in ICU.

Jamie, if you need a hand with anything, give me a call mate, I'm on holidays, so if you need help fixing the bike (I know you'll wanna get back on straight away), yell out mate.

All in all, a bad end to a decent day, but... I guess, it could have been a lot worse.
