Foot Pegs

Ok, I am loseing my mind. Can someone help me with a problem I am haveing. I just bought red pegs for my bike. I am haveing some troble with the drivers(left leg[shifter] ) peg, it seemes to be right up agianst it when removeing the pin/bolt, and not the cotter pin but the bolt going threw the assembly

What exactly are you having trouble with?? You just trying to change out only the foot pegs and not the whole rear set correct?

What exaclty is "it" refering to? Some pics may help too.
