Yamaha comfort seat worth it?

Next week i am giving stock seat on mod. here we have one guy who can do any job on seats,send pict. when finish.

Hi guys just weighing on the seat debate...... going to get the Bagster Seatster, tried out one the other day (without the gel option) lot more comfortable than factory original & puts you slightly closer to the ground ...maybe not so good if you are over 6' tall......

yea I think after seeing the pics of a custom bagster I'm gonna bite the bullet and order one up in a black and blue scheme with the fz6 logo stiched into it w/ the gel option. Probably set me back a bit but it will look soooo sick! :rockon:

I'm slowly working on mine now while riding the comfort seat. Just haven't finished it yet but I like where it's going!

Just got back from 840 miles on the stock seat...my butt went numb, but I'll bet a Corbin or other plush seat would do wonders!!

and a bigger windscreen lol

I really enjoy the comfort seat. I found that it evens out the pressure points and mine is not slippery, however I am 6' tall.

I was lucky enough to sit on one & try it out before I ordered mine, the problem is for many of these items most of us only have the pics to look at... which is fine IF they turn out to be any good. Otherwise it can turn out to be a big waste of money. If the seat I tried out was any indicator you will be very happy with it. One other thing to think about is...............most guys have boney bums hence the seat feels hard, where as females have a little more padding (& I'm not saying fat either) :Flash: I know a few people that share a bike with their partners and its always the guys who find the seat hard.

You may have seem this in another thread but I can say from personal experience that the Bagster Seat is V.comfortable indeed - and looks great on the bike.

This had been fitted before I bought her so I cant compare and constrast with the standard offering but I havent had anything close to a numb ass yet.

Yes you're right they are very comfy I tried before I ordered, yours is identical to the one I've ordered except the piping on mine will be red to suit bike.

i was told by a local dealer that mine has the comfert seat.. and boy am i glad i didnt pay for it.. i think it sucks, i would like to see what the stock seat is like..
