I have a 2006 FZ6.
I was changing the ignition switch, after mine suffered infamous can't turn the key problem, and I made my problem a lot worse. I let the tank pressure pull on the wire harness to the point that the wires pulled out of the fuel couplers and left the pins in the coupler. ( I know. I should have unplugged them right off the bat.....
Unfortunately, it gets worse.
My buddy comes by and assures me that he can get the pins out. So, stupidly, let him take the couplers. He brought the pieces back to me but the pins are completely unusable. He mangled the pins on the way out and widened the holes with a screw driver.

so now I need the find someone with a junk wire harness that I can bogart those two connecters from. I think years 2004 through 2006 will work. As well, I believe the same ones are found on the 2004 through 2006 R6?

I have a wiring harness that i'm parting out.
Which wires exactly do you need?

I have the green socket that is attached to fuel pump if you need.
The white socket went to another forum member.

Unfortunately, the white one is already gone to FB400.
But the green one is available if you want.

Yes.
I'll take it.

do any of the other connectors have the same square pins? if so, i might be able to use them too.

The hope is that I can use the pins to rebuild my white connector..

Fazil -
I finally got the bike back together after all that time. I went with a used pump off ebay and the thing flat out didn't work!! Returned for refund. Was tired of being without a bike so I bought a brand new pump.. Costs a fortune at $422. But decided my season is worth it. I spliced the white connector in and it looks factory again. All good!! Now looking forward to making up some lost time

BTW: I did epoxy the old pump fuel outlet back on. The thing is rock solid - no leaks!!. But me being a worryer you wouldn't catch me with a repaired pump on the bike. Just a tad too risky for me

Fz-Sweet, can you post a photo of your broken wires that i can look for the pins you need?

FB400, that's good news that you're on the road again.
New pump is better than a dripping bike on the road.
