Woohoo! I can ride my bikes again!

Glad to hear you are doing better Jamie, too bad about the ride, oh well. Is the ankle progressing along well?

My battery tender has a pigtail that's connected to the terminals, simply plug-and-play.

Welcome back to two wheels Jamie! :steve:

As for the tender, mine is hard wired to the battery. Plug and charge without any issues. :D

Thanks guys....will do the same tomorrow....

i have actually lost weight! been a bit hard to cook with one hand

Is your speed dial broken?...LMAO:D.

Mate, the ride up to your joint was pretty good, but the ride from your joint home was horrible...worst ride I ever had:liar:....Nah really:innocent::liar::spank::spank::ban:

There was a bit of debris on the road from the strong winds, but was dry....Almost forgot what that word means...lol.

Good to know you can jump on the bike when it's ready to go now though:thumbup:.

Cheers
Mike

yeah, and your not riding behind me ever again!

yeah, and your not riding behind me ever again!

Aaaawww, c'mon mate...not that many people have come off in front of me....lol....although, I don't really want to see any more at all...lol.

Anyhow, I thought that was all part of my education..."Look Mike, this is how to tackle a 4WD. Don't take any garbage from them!"...."Look Mike, this is why you need good leathers at the track":spank::spank::spank::ban:

Tally now is...

2 low sides
1 high side
1 four wheel drive shmacko
1 head on overtaking near miss
4 times watching Gaz with brake troubles (warped disc) near misses only
And to my shame, a couple locked rear, missed corners including a near head on 'cause I think I pressured the dude:(( he did go past me doing 200+ in an 80 zone along a straight right before an awesome bit of bendy stuff and slowed down for the twisties....grrr!).

Hmmm. Maybe you're right...lol.:eek::eek:
Need to get a sign made up..."Don't ride in front of me"

Cheers
Mike

Btw Wolfman, is there any truth that bump starting fuel injected bikes, or just any of the newer generation bikes with all the electrics can cause damage?

Only drama is, there needs to be enough charge left in the battery to run the fuel pump so you CAN bump start it.

Other than that, I don't think there's any fear of harming anything. (They bump start MotoGP bikes all the time... lots of electrics on those things)

Ohhh awesome I always wondered :D

The only thing worse than an unskilled cagey getting infront of you in the straights then creeping through the bends, is the idiots who tailgate you through those tight blind corners

or the idiots that come to stop right in front of you, on the exit of a blind corner.......SCHMAK!

:(

well, all is good in the world of the wolf, battery now charged, and bike ready to rock.....did not ride last night, as we are experiencing some rather nasty storms in Adelaide tonight.....tree's falling over, lots of wind, thunder, and most scarily, lots of lightning.

Will be back out there tomorrow...i mean today, terrorising cagers with the TB's, without the baffles!

Well, after a false start via a flat battery, and then a very full on week at work....which has had me sleeping most of every day, during the day, tonight i am going for a ride.,..finally, bit nervous (not like me at all), not cause i am scared of falling off, but more because i am a bit worried bout my hand...is still feeling a little dodgy....plus i will be riding with Ozzieboy.....my "good luck" charm!!!!

LOL,good luck riding with Dr Doom mate ,you will stop being nervous I reckon as soon as you get on the thing again

He gets the Dr Doctor doom thing from his dad.....last comments from Mike's dad at the track, before i took off out onto the track with camera attached to bike were....."Ya know, as soon as you put a camera on your bike, you will crash!!!!!!!" Was meant jokingly.....but then he sent Dr Doom out behind me!!!!!

Just got back from my ride with Mikey to Crafers...very short ride. Both my hand & ankle were a little painful, but not enough to be a real issue, except hitting bumps in the road....hurt the hand like hell!

Ride was awesome, nice gentle blat thru the twisties....felt so good to be back on the bike...especially with the baffles out of my pipes...god i missed that sound!

Would of like to have ridden further, but didnt want to push it...

We had dinner at Jimmie's in Crafers, and ate a seriously large amount of food as usual....

freaked out a waitress, a Canadian on her first night...i think she was having a few issues translating what Mikey & me were saying....

Then there was the other waitress....:smoking::drool::spank:

We even had Chocolate Mudcake.....and i had a short black.....might have to start riding my Duc again!

Was cold, but dry on the roads, and conditions were pretty good, bike felt wishy washy on the way to dinner...checked tyre pressures before setting off for home....front 27, rear 28!

Quickly fixed for an enjoyable ride home....

Thanks Mikey for coming for a blat, and sharing a very decent feed....although was looking for something a little different for dessert!

:sinister:

Glad to hear you are back on the bike and hitting the roads.

Poor Canadian waitress - you guys (as I am sure us as well) do need translating from time to time (and google doesn't always work). ;)

And the ratio of rides with me behind you where you haven't tried to spot your house from above your bike, to rides where you've tried to fly without a decent cape is getting better...lol.(Dr. Doom my kazoo:spank:....lol).:D

Good food and lots of it. A nice cool ride in the dry twisties and I didn't even have to worry about bright headlights in my eyes (Tinted visor again:eek:...lol..oops).

The Canadian girl seemed fairly taken with us though....(Like, "Woow! They almost taught these apes to speak:eek:. Say it again kong I nearly got it that time":D...lol).

I thought you got exactly what you wanted for desert. A La Di Da Choccy Muddcake thingy and a short black:eyebrow:.

Nice to have some company again riding.

And without further ado....the very manly mudcake desert thingies...lol.:cheer:( I left out some truly shocking pics of Wolfman and myself....lol....could sell them to the haunted house people at the show...LMAO)
