My bike came with BT 20's as standard and they squared off pretty radically. As I ride from Lorne to Geelong a lot (Great Ocean Road), I need a tyre that handles the corners and stays warm. Having said that, I do some highway miles as well.
Bt 20's did 14,000 km
I decided to replace with the BT 21's as they are dual compound. However, they are squaring off consideribly at 7,000km and I think I will go with the Michelins next.
Why did Bridgestone bring out the BT 23's so soon after the Bt 21's and claim 30% more wear?
I paid $500 + for the 21's and I am not happy the new tyre is claimed to last longer.
Not happy indeed!
AND when this consumer isn't happy, he changes brands.
For ever!
Marketers, how I love to sue them!
