What material for custom brackets?

Hey everybody,

I am in the process of making some custom brackets to mount my windscreen to my newly naked fz6. I was wondering what sort of material would be easy to work with and is flexible to bend yet strong enough to keep the windscreen in place at high speeds.

Anybody with a good link to buy some bracket material? I've looked at local stores (Ace Hardware, Menards, Lowes, etc......) with no luck.

I used aluminum strips...works good.

I bought the strips from Lowes. I used a hacksaw to cut them and a good drill bit to place holes in them.
