Trackday... on my GROM!!

After almost a year of owning my Grom I finally made it out to a kart track with some other Grom owners.
In short, it was so much fun! I can't wait to go back.
My bike is mostly stock and I could definitely find the limits of ground clearance and the suspension rather easily. Those will be two areas I need to fix before I go back.
It was interesting riding such a small track, it was definitely a completely different challenge than riding a full size track with a full size bike.
At first I was rather awkward in the tight stuff, but by the end of the day I had most of the corners down. It definitely helped that were were basically the only people there and had the track to ourselves for just about 8 hours. I was definitely on track a lot more than the two hours I'd spend on track on the big bike.

sounds like a fun cheap alternative to proper track riding :thumbup:

Definitely a lot cheaper than the proper tracks.
$3,000 will get you a brand new Grom and it only cost me $25 to ride all day. Not to mention that the bike sips fuel at the track.

Looks fun but its quite hard to find suited tracks since go kart track owners aren't always open to bikes.
