Key on. Kill switch on. Bike in gear. Kick stand up. Clutch pulled. Battery good. What's your guess?

I've already solved it but had to phone a friend...

Had this last week, gummy micro switch on the clutch lever, squirt of WD40 did the job

Sent from the phone: sorry 'bout my spileng, fat fingers...you know!

Bingo. Actually pulled the wire clip lose while installing my voltmeter display. Not intentionally and didn't know I did it. And I looked and didn't see a wire there because the display wires were covering it! Called dealer, and clicked her back into place. Whew. Too anal to let that go....,

The spring or whatever came loose in my clutch switch last year. Took the switch off, took it apart and fixed it, went to put it back on and realized the screw snapped inside the lever. Now I just start it in neutral

i had this, every time i changed into gear it would cut out.

took the battery out for 15mins and problem solved :S
