I saw this on one of Jeremy Clarkson's old shows a couple of months ago, it is pretty incredible, I sure don't have the patience (or the talent!).

That was my first thought. I understand why he didn't but would be awesome to rip through the gears in that thing and see how it performs.

if he did that it wouldn't be an "exact replica" anymore since he has to put in extra electronics and probably shuffle some things around for it to work so it would put his years of work to shame...
