On a side note, why the hell would you have to leave the ninja with them for them to put tires on it?
My dealer changes them while I wait. If they have the tires in stock, I could walk in and pay for them and get them on right then. Or I could order them and have them put on when I show up to pick them up after they call me telling me that they're in.
But also, I think tires is about the only thing they're good at

I'm glad you got your bike running. It sounds like the dealership just made a series of mistakes and isn't actually evil. S*&T happens sometimes.

the tires for a Ninja 250 are a funky size, so most shops don't carry them. plus I didn't want to run the stock tires again. I had to special order a set of Pirelli Diablo scooter tires, they are supposed to be really good on the Ninja.Glad you got it taken care of.

and I didn't want to have to put gas in my truck to go pick up my bike, I just dropped off the Ninja and took my bike to save a trip.(which I ended up having to make anyway)
Trust I suppose? My bike is garaged at home, doesn't see much bad weather and the roads here are great so I'm not prone to these issues.
I suppose I should test it once in a while. If it breaks, I can easily bypass just as Danny did, eh?

I agree, plus I like the fact that I'm in the habit of using it therefore when I need to use it quick, it will come naturally and quick! Kind of using the horn or brake. The use should be immediately and naturally. Not after the fact that I should have used it.

Well this might be a little off the subject, but, do the "Scorpion" emblems look as though they can be removed? I am not a huge fan of extra advertising!

She was an absolute idiot.....she asked Danny what kind of bike he had...he said FZ6.......she writes down FC6. Then she had to ask another customer if his GSXR-1000 was a Suzuki She shouldn't even be working near motorcycles.
My opinion, I think she has the hots for Danny and that's why she called him to apologize. :rof:

Oh, I see.
On a side note:
I just bought some Avon Road Riders for my girlfriends Blast in 100/90-16 front (up from 100/80-16 stock) and 120/80-16 "universal" for the rear and saw that they are almost the same size as the ninja. I guess the ninja runs a 130/80-16 though for the rear. I'd reccommend these for you to try but don't think you'd want to go down a size in the rear. The tires are V speed rated (149mph) though. I haven't gotten them put on yet, but plan to this week and to see the differences. If you're interested I'll let you know how they run in case you want to try them for the next set on the ninja if you plan on having it that long. I got both tires together for $160.13.
